Bolivia - November 16th, 2010

Fires are ablaze once again in Bolivia, a nation that over the last few months has been plagued by forest fires and the heavy, atmosphere-cloggin smoke from them.

After a few weeks’ respite, multiple fires can be seen north and northwest of Santa Cruz de la Sierra (bottom edge). The plumes of smoke from the blazes are blowing to the north and northwest, and a thick cloud of smoke is once again beginning to form over the country and spread into Brazil.
