Upon opening the full image, two rivers can be seen flowing vertically across this image of Brazil. To the left, tan in color surrounded by darker brown terrain, is the Ribeirão Crisóstomo in the state of Mato Grosso. A fire can be seen to the right of the river near the middle of the image.

To the right is the Tocantins River, in the state of Tocantins. Following the river along its path from the top to the bottom of the image, three large reservoirs can be observed. The one nearest the top was created by the Lajeado Hydroelectric Power Plant and is situated by the city of Palmas, the state capital.
