Dust and Smoke Over West Africa - March 23rd, 2012

A mix of dust and smoke continues to blow off the coast of West Africa (click here for previous images). Visible through the haze is the mouth of the Geba River, in Guinea Bissau, near the border with Senegal. Tan sediments pour out into the Atlantic Ocean and take on a green hue as they diffuse into deeper waters.
