May 7th, 2011 Category: Deserts, Dust Storms

Tunisia - May 2nd, 2011

Dust from the Sahara Desert blows across eastern Algeria and Tunisia, and then past the coastline and over the Mediterranean Sea.

The dense cloud of dust obscures most of Tunisia’s coastline, although Djerba is partially visible by the Gulf of Boughrara.
