Ripples in Dust Plume Sweeping off Libyan Shores
A thick dust plume continues to blow off the coast of Libya near Benghazi and into the Gulf of Sidra.
The dust seems to blow out from below the Jabal Al Akhdar ( “Green Mountain”), extending westward. The close-up shows some ripples in the plume, as the dust particles follow the wavelike motion of air currents. Part of a town and some fields are partially visible undernearth the veil of dust.
