July 8th, 2012 Category: Dust Storms

Red Sea – July 7th, 2012

Dust blows off the coast of Sudan and Eritrea and over the Red Sea. While most of the sea is covered by a dusty veil, other thick plumes of dust can be observed upon opening the full image. Visible in the lower right corner, through the veil of dust, are islands belonging to Saudi Arabia’s Jazan province.
