Persian Gulf – September 1st, 2012

A plume of dust blows off the coast of Iran, east of the mouth of the Shatt al’Arab and the border with Iraq. The dust blows almost due south over the Persian Gulf. Visible along the shores of the gulf are sediments, particularly by the rivermouth, but also along the western shoreline by the Kuwait-Saudi Arabia border.
