Dust can be seen blowing off the coast of Pakistan, near the border with Iran, on the left side of this image. Some dust is visible near the top edge as well, over the Indus River Valley.
The valley of the Indus River appears as a thick, green curved line crossing the image. The total length of the river is 3,180 km (1,980 mi), making it Pakistan’s longest river. It has a total drainage area exceeding 1,165,000 km2 (450,000 sq mi).
