Libya - May 4th, 2011

Dust blows over the Gulf of Sidra, also known as the Gulf of Sirte, a body of water in the Mediterranean Sea on the northern coast of Libya.

Most of the landscape visible here is yellowish tan desert, although one darker area can be seen by the coastline in the upper part of the image. This is the location of the Al Jabel Al Akhdar, meaning the Green Mountain.
