Dust Off West Coast of Africa - September 20th, 2010

The dust that has been blowing over Morocco/Western Sahara and Mauritania and off the western coast of Africa over the last couple of days has now reached far over the Atlantic Ocean (click here for previous articles).

Upon opening the full image, the dust can be seen reaching almost to the Lesser Antilles, including the island of Guadeloupe. Visible in the lower part of the image is the northern coastline of Brazil, including the mouth of the Amazon River (partially obscured by clouds).
