Dust Off West Coast of Africa - September 17th, 2010

A few days ago, a thick cloud of dust was seen blowing over the Ras Nouadhibou Peninsula of Morocco/Western Sahara and Mauritania (click here for previous article).

Here, the dust can be seen carried far westward over the Atlantic Ocean. Most is concentrated in oneĀ  plume that blows first southwest then archs upward towards the northwest.
