Haze Over Northeastern China Plains38.4N 116.1E
Haze can be seen over China’s fertile northeastern plains. The haze might actually be an after-effect of tropical storms in the Pacific, as such meteorological phenomena can block air currents and thus trap haze.
Through the translucent haze, numerous cities and towns appear as tan dots across the plain. Mountains to the west prevent the haze from spreading further over drier areas.
