Haze Over Eastern China Obscures Land Below
37.4N 113.0EThick haze can be seen hovering over eastern China, stretching from Beijing southward, covering much of the coastal plain bordering the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea (right edge of full image). In many places, the haze was thick enough to completely hide the land below. To the west, mountain peaks can be seen rising above the haze, although valleys between the peaks are covered.
